Phil Ade - The Letter (Video)

New to me is the lyrical vibe set loose from DMV emcee, Phil Ade. Phil has earned the distinction of being the first artist signed to Raheem DeVaughn’s DC-based independent label, 368 Music Group. What I personally like about dude is his connection with words and his ability to apply them vividly. He's most certainly inspired by the "Golden Era" of hip-hop and that's a major for heads such as myself that love the music that came out then. He'll be dropping his 2nd mixtape, The Letter  on July 6th, so make sure to check it out when it drops via Okayplayer.
